Meta’s bulky Oculus Quest 2 headset uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip. Bosworth was recently appointed CTO of Meta and is laying the technical foundation for the company’s VR future.
Bosworth also said that in terms of productivity and collaboration, the metaverse computing model will be larger than laptops and desktops.
“All of this will be supported by artificial intelligence, which helps users process and understand the world around them,” he said.
